Making it to the finale is a dream come true! When I entered the competition my goal was to make it all the way through. When all the past contenders walked in the house I nearly had a heart attack. I had a feeling that they were all going to come back for the finale because that's what happened last season, however I did not expect them to come out when Robert announced the homework assignment. Seeing some of the people that had been eliminated earlier on was incredible! I missed them a lot! The final choreography session was really fun! I loved having everyone there. The energy was so high and I was excited to get to work with Michael again.

My last session in the booth with Nikki was a blast! I really focused on my character and had a blast using the "b*tch" in this song. It was probably my favorite time in the studio. Being mentored by Chris Colfer was awesome! He is so down to earth.  He was a theater kid growing up as well and I loved his advice for us. I felt like he really understood me and was genuinely excited for me!

Being on set for the last music video was a blast.  It felt different that Blake, Aylin and I were the only ones doing solo parts.  Throughout the competition I got used to working a lot as an ensemble.  This video was definitely an opportunity to connect and enjoy each other.

I decided to make "Popular" from Wicked my final song because I felt like it would show me off as an actress and a singer. At the end I wanted to show Ryan and all of the mentors that I could act, sing and dance. I think this song allowed me to shine. I was really happy with my final performance! It was a blast and having everyone there from the season including the mentors and writers was incredible! I felt so much love and support from everyone.

When I found out that Blake won I was thrilled for him.  He had worked so hard and was perfect for this opportunity. I never felt like I "lost" The Glee Project because I only gained from this experience. I am so thrilled that I got to go on this journey! This is only the beginning of my career! You always win when you've learned something and I have learned SOOO much on The Glee Project! Not just about performing but about myself! The greatest lesson I have come away from this experience with is that I am enough. Thank you to all the fans for your love! This has been an unexpected dream come true!

Making it to the finale was one of the best feelings in the world. I don't think that I will ever forget that feeling. One step closer to making my ultimate dreams come true!

I was shocked when I saw all of the past contenders walk into the house! I was not expecting everybody to come back right at the start of the week so it was a pleasant surprise. Of course, I was VERY happy to see Charlie!! I missed him a lot and it was getting even harder to get through the competition without him.

It definitely got hard during choreography because we had to dance with so many people in a room together, but I think that we were all so excited to be reunited and we were just having a fun time with it! I am in love with Zach and I was really sad that it was our last choreography session. =(

I had a blast recording in the booth for the last time. It has been an honor working with Nikki and I learned a lot from her. I was just trying to have fun with this last one.

Chris Colfer is so insightful and just overall an amazing human being! He helped the three of us a lot and it was great getting advice from him about which songs we should sing for our final last chance performances.

I had a horrible prom in high school so I was excited about getting a do-over for the music video! I had so much fun that day and never wanted it to end. It didn't register with me that this was it. This is the last time we will all be in a music video together.

I wanted to pick a song I could emote and really connect to and “Rolling in the Deep” by Adele was that song for me. I think that it showed off a lot of what I can do vocally, but also let me sing my heart out! It's all about the emotion of a song for me.

I was so happy with my final performance. I left my heart out on that stage and wouldn't do anything differently. It was amazing having all of my friends there watching, especially Charlie. His support has meant so much to me during the competition and I felt like I was on cloud nine knowing that he was there watching me do what I do best!

I am so unbelievably happy for Blake. He deserves it all!! He is such a genuine, kind and loving person and truly has become one of my best friends. I wanted this more than anything, but, I can't help but be excited and happy for Blake. I will support him through it all and I know he is going to rock it on Glee! =) I will take away so much from my experience on the show. I met the people I know I will be lifelong friends with. I gained a new family and I couldn't be happier. Knowing that I came so close to making my dreams become a reality, only fuels my flame more! I am so ready for the next chapter of my life and so ready to keep fighting for my dreams! This is definitely not the last anyone has seen of me!!

When I found out that I had made it to the finale, I could not believe it AT ALL. I was so grateful and thankful that I had received this amazing opportunity to have one last shot to give it all that I could to hopefully be on Glee. When I found out that I had made it to the finale, all I could think was "AAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!"

I could NOT believe that everyone came back for the final week! It was awesome to see everyone again! It felt like our family was put back together. All of us dancing together again felt like a HUGE party and it was so fun to be able to jam out together!

I felt a lot of pressure in the recording booth for the final time. We all knew that this was our last chance to show what we could do so we really wanted to do a good job.

Our one-on-one mentoring session with Chris Colfer was AWESOME. He gave us all really good tips and ideas to go into our final week with. He was very supportive and kind to us!!! It was EXTREMELY exciting to have him as our final guest mentor!!!

Being on the set for the last time was pretty nerve racking. We definitely wanted to do a good job on this last music video and have as much fun as we could. But at the same time, it was sad. Here we all were on the set of our LAST music video. We had become family and this was our home.

"I'll Be" by Edwin McCain is an AMAZING song. It has always been one of my favorites. I have always been the type of person that wanted to be there for my family, friends, and loved ones. I wanted my final song to truly show who I am to Ryan and I felt like this song would help me display that to him.

I had A LOT of fun during my final performance. While singing my song, I could not believe I had made it to this point. I was so grateful; I can't explain how thankful I was to be able to have made it that far. It was amazing having all of our friends there to support us. Having them there actually made it less nerve racking, there was so much support for Ali, Aylin, and I with our friends there.

Throughout the competition, Ryan had told me that I really needed to show him a different side of me that he hadn't seen before. I decided to write the poem because I started writing poetry when I was a kid. Writing poetry evolved into writing stories and scripts as the years went on, but I have always had a special connection to poetry. When I write poetry it helps me to explain exactly what I'm feeling. I am always there to give friends advice and comfort if they need me, but I when I need to vent or have something on my mind, writing helps me so much. Poetry is my gateway to expressing how I feel at times, and that is why I chose to write a poem for Ryan.

Winning The Glee Project was honestly the HAPPIEST MOMENT OF MY LIFE. I could not believe that I won!!! Once I heard Ryan say it, I could not hold still and I just jumped like a video game character. I have heard no so many times since I started to pursue acting. I was so grateful and thankful to finally hear a “yes” like this. This could never have happened without my family, friends, and loved ones who have always been there with their support and love. I will never change and I will be grateful and thankful for everything that happens. On that finale night, I heard the “yes” that I have been working for since I was a kid. Acting is my wife. I will marry Acting, have seven kids with Acting, and put all of our kids through college. I am thankful for everything and everyone that made this possible and I will carry this in my heart for the rest of my life. I am forever grateful.

I was SO pumped for Actability- I had a feeling this theme would be coming eventually! I was really excited to show the mentors the acting chops I knew I had.

Robert talked about how important it is to be a triple threat. I consider myself to be a double and a half threat? Haha I'm not the best dancer, but I can move!

I thought the flash card thing was stupid hahahaha... real acting isn't reading off of a flash card. It's much more than that. I think I played this game in theatre class when I was 12.

I was pretty nervous about my character in the music video. It wasn't trying to be insecure that was difficult, it was the car crash part. The gravity of that situation is heavy. And I knew that I had to portray realistic emotions.

Improvising scenes were easier than I thought. I was very lucky to get Ali who is a seasoned PRO! I felt like I really connected with her. All inhibitions about the scene being good enough flew out of my head. And I was just present, like Dianna told us to be.

I was confused about the final speeches. I didn't realize they were "final speeches" I thought they were just giving us advice. But I did smell something fishy... And low and behold WE ARE ALL DOING A LAST CHANCE PERFORMANCE!.... but what? For ALL OF THE WRITERS OF GLEE!? UHMMM did I just die?

I was nervous and excited to perform in front of all of the writers of Glee. It was weird to me, at first, that we were all going to be compared to each other in one night. It was great for me because I knew I could kick ass on that stage, but in a way, it was almost like the finale... these were ultimately the people who decided our fate.

When I found out I got "Son of a Preacher Man," I was a little disappointed because it wasn't very DEEP or DRAMATIC or SHOW STOPPING. So I knew I had to whip out a few tricks. And I felt good about the performance.

Honestly I was in complete and utter shock that Michael and I were both going home. First, I didn't think there could be a double elimination. And second, I honestly thought "how could it be over after all of this" I was expecting to wake up and find myself in my TGP bed.

My elimination was frustrating. I got to the point where I had done everything I could. I wasn't eliminated because I did something wrong, or I didn't have the acting or singing or dancing chops. It was because I was already written in their minds. They saw a big girl and immediately I'm Mercedes or Lauren. Just because we are all over a size 12 doesn't mean our stories are the same.

But regardless of how much I wanted this show, or how much I still do, I know that I have left this competition with people who understand me. People who have seen me at my LOWEST and are still by my side. And these people (on and off camera) have helped shaped my loud, abrupt, brassy nature into a more gentle and understanding human being.
